There are two ways to repair the equipment—-Normal and Special.

Normal Repair

Equipment Repairing conducted by NPC is called Normal Repair. Normal Repair has a side effect on weapon or equipment. Every time you repair weapons or equipments via NPC will cause 5% loss of durability.

Special Repair

Repair conducted in Magic Cube is called Special Repair. Special repair has no side effect, but it needs ores or repair scrolls to work. Repair equipments with ores is the most common way in Chaos.

After you know what ores are needed to repqir your equipment, you need to figure out how many ores are needed. The computation method is as follow: Required Level of equipment/20 (assume integral values) + 1.

For instance, to repair a piece of level 68 perfect armor you need 68/20 + 1 = 4 level 5 iron ores.

How to conduct Special Repair

First open the Magic Cube, and then put your equipment or weapon at the Sun slot and other related items at the other slots and then click ‘Run’.

Let’s take an example:

Referring to the ore formula, Purple Equipment: Iron Ore 5 ((Required Level/20)+1)
That’s 37/20+1=2  Iron Ore 5

Put the Equipment at the Sun slot, Split the ores and put them at the Moon and Star slot..

(Please don’t put in irrelevant items, otherwise they’ll disappear.)

You can also repair equipments and weapons with Repair Scroll which you can get it from Chaos Mall.  Put the equipment at the sun slog of Magic Cube and Special Repair Scroll at the moon slog, then click “Run”. Please be noted that you have to split Special Repair Scrolls, since scrolls you get from Chaos Mall are a stack of 9.
