What is this guide about?
This is a somewhat in-depth guide about crystals, gems, meteors, valuables, etc. I have seen many questions on what each item does and why it is not working. So hear a basic guide to stop all the questions
Part 1: Meteors
What are they for and how do I get them?
These meteors are for upgrading level 20+ weapons. If you’ve ever wondered why you your weapon stopped leveling after 5 or it was stuck, it is not a glitch. This just means you need to upgrade it using the meteor. A meteor looks like a green "duck head" and it drops commonly out of most other rare and valuable gems. You could purchase them at the item mall for 10 diamonds.
So how do I use the meteor?
Step One: Open MagicCube.
Step Two: Place weapon in first slot of magic cube.
Step Three: Place a level # (depending on what level your upgrading) meteor onto second slot.
Step four: Place a lvl 2 crystal onto 3rd slot.
Step five: Press okay (the button).
More information on meteor
- Each upgrade is 1 up ( first upgrade needs lvl 1 met, second upgrade needs level 2, etc.)
- Level 40 weapons need level 3 crystal
- Level 60 weapons need lvl 4 crystal
- Each upgrade gives you a chance of activating martial soul (special attributes)
- Common drop from mobs
- Each successful level will decrease chances for the next checkpoint.
Part 2: Sockets
What are they for and how do I use them?
These gems are used for making sockets into equipment, it can be used on all equipment except capes, mounts and costumes. The 2 gems that are used for this process are:
Ruby: Low success rate.
Topaz: High success rate.
How to use them: Making Sockets
To make a socket all you have to do is open magic cube and place the equipment in first slot and topaz or ruby in bottom of slot. THe chances will show in the circle.
How to use them: Gems and skill stones
There are a variety of gems that you can use for socketing it into the equipment. There are 2 types of gems:
Skillstone - Can only go into weapons and allows you to use certain skills.
Normal Gem - Can not be embeded into weapon but is allowed in other equipment. It increases your stats (i.e. Crit, strength, MA, etc.)
To put gems/skillstones you follow the same rule as upgrading.
First socket -> second socket -> third socket
Equipment -> Gem –> Crystal
More information about sockets and socketing
- Any level 40+ equipment needs a level 3 crystal except for weapon.
- Rarer then most gems.
- Weapons use level 2 crystals.
Part 3: Superstones
What are they?
These helpful gems are basically natural stat upgraders. They don’t upgrade equipment special attributes. For example, if its armor that has +15 charm, it doesn’t increase that stat it increases the PD and MD of that armor by a certain amount. The 2 types of gems used for enhancing equipment are:
Violet Gem - Upgrading equipment to 1-7, Can’t be used after grade 7.
SuperViolet Gem - Upgrading equipment from 7-9.
How do I use them?
The same way as topaz/ruby.
Open magic cube.
Sun -> Moon
Equipment -> Violet Gem
More information about superstones
- There is a chance of failing.
- Each chance of failing increases each successful upgrade.
- Superviolet gem cannot be used for 1-6 upgrades.
- Each fail will bring your grade down by 1 except for 7. 7 will not go to 6 even though you fail.
