What are they?
Eudemons are an attatchment to an awakened weapon, that add stats to that weapon. (for how to awaken a weapon, look here
http://co.enjoymmo.com/forum/thread-2590-1-1.html)
Where do I find them?
Eudemons can be dropped by monsters or bought in the mall.
So, how do I use them?
Once you have an awakened weapon, slots for eudemons appear.
You do not need to do anything to create these slots. To insert a eudemon, you place your weapon in the sun slot of the magic cube, the eudemon in the moonslot, and click run. Your weapon now carries the eudemon. Equip the weapon, and in the bottom left corner of the screen, you will see the picture of your eudemon in black and white. This means that it is in the weapon, but not activated. It MUST be activated for any of its stats to be given to your weapon. To activate, click on the black and white picure; it brings up a eudemon status box. Click "Activate" and your eudemon is now helping you; the picture on the bottom right should now be in color, to let you know that it is working. The word "Activate" has also turned to "Sleep" in case you would like it to no longer be active. Also notice, that if you would like the eudemon to leave the weapon and return to your bag, you can click "release". Under normal circumstances, you can have one eudemon activated at any point in time. You can, however, buy a mall item called "Activation" (currently 580 diamonds) that will allow ONE WEAPON to have 2 activated eudemons.
Okay, so how do I make them stronger?
Two ways; the first, is to level them. The way you do this is to put them into your weapon, and adjust how much cosmo power is absorbed by the eudemon at the armsdealer. Default is 0, so for your eudemons to level at all, it must first be adjusted. Cosmo, by the way, is the blue bar at the top left
that is used to make crystals. Crystal making will naturally be slower, the more cosmo your eudemons are set to absorb. Keep in mind that the eudemon can go to only one level higher than your weapon's equipment level. (Here
http://co.enjoymmo.com/forum/thread-2590-1-1.html for explanation of equipment level) The way to increase your eudemon's stats is called "rebirthing", and is somewhat complicated; that will be explained once we have answered...
So, what is with the stat things? There are way too many there!
There are two main kinds of stats on eudemons; the initial
and the potential.
First, the initial stats. These always apply to your weapon; however, on different weapons they apply slightly different. On a level 20 weapon, the first type of weapon you can awaken, 20% of the eudemons initial stats will be added to the weapon. On a level 40 weapon, you gain 60% of those initial stats, and on a level 60 weapon you gain the entire 100%. Whether the weapon is normal, refined, elite or perfect does not affect the percentage gained. Potential stats are different; they vary according to the level of your eudemon. Essentially, the gained stats are the potential times the eudemons level minus one. For example, if a eudemon has a potential PD of 10, and it is level 31, potentials give it 10*30=300 extra PD. Or a potential of 20 and level 51, will add 20*50=1000 PD. Keep in mind, that these potential stats are also affected by the weapon type, as in a level 20 weapon gets 20% of it, whereas a level 60 will get 100% of it. Last but not least, your weapons equipment level (Here
http://co.enjoymmo.com/forum/thread-2590-1-1.html if you don't understand) also affects the potentials; if your weapon is equipment lvl 30, your eudemon can count as no more than level 31, much the same as levelling your eudemon.
A few example calculations, for those interested; if not, feel free to skip past all the numbers.
You have a eudemon that is level 26 with an initial PD of 6000, a potential PD of 20, on a level 40 awakened weapon that is equipment level 50. The calculation goes (initial*60% for lvl 40 weapon)+(potential*eudemon level minus one*60% for lvl 40 weapon), or in this case (6000*60%)+(20*25*60%)=3600+300=3900 total PD from the eudemon. Now lets say your eudemon was level 80 with the exact same stats on the exact same weapon; since the weapon is only equipment level 50, the eudemon counts as level 51, so (6000*60%)+(20*50*60%)=4200 PD from this eudemon.
Also, there are two different kinds of potential stats; "main" potentials and "accessory" potentials. Main potentials are shown in red when looking at the eudemon, while accessory potentials are shown in white. The difference between these is very little until you get to rebirthing.
Okay, so explain the rebirthing thing, would you?
Rebirthing is the way to increase the initial and potential stats of the eudemon. There are three kinds of rebirths, and they all have the same basic requirements; a "main" eudemon (one you are going to keep) of an appropriate level, a rebornscroll (there are three kinds, explained shortly) and a "sacrifice" eudemon of the SAME KIND at an appropriate level. You place the main in the sun slot of the magic cube, the scroll in the moon slot, and the sacrifice in the star slot. After rebirthing, the scroll and sacrifice eudemon will disappear, and your main eudemon will return to level 1. Don't panic! Once you level it to 15 again, it jumps back to the level it was before rebirthing.
The first rebirth is the "Initial" rebirth, so called because it increases your main eudemon's initial stats. This requires a main eudemon that is at LEAST level 70, a rebornscroll1, and a sacrifice eudemon (of the same kind, remember) at least level 40. Also, for this rebirth to work, the sacrifice eudemon MUST have at least one initial stat higher than the main eudemon. This is not a complete transfer of stats; if your main has 2000 PD initial, and your sacrifice has 4000 PD initial, after the rebirth your main will have approximately 3000 PD initial.
The second rebirth is called the "potential" or "main" rebirth (main because it is the most frequently used, and affects only the main potential, the ones in red). This one requires a main eudemon of at least level 30, a rebornscroll2, and a sacrifice eudemon of at least level 15. There is no minimum requirement for the stats of the sacrifice, beyond the level; any junk eudemon of the same kind will work. Also, for this rebirth only, a gigi may replace the sacrifice eudemon. The level requirement remains, even for the gigi. After the rebirth, your eudemon's main potentials will have increased very slightly; to the tune of .01 to .02 per stat. More on this rebirth in the "quality" section later.
The third and final rebirth is called the "accessorial" rebirth, as it rebirths only the accessory potential (remember, the potential in white). This one requires a main eudemon at least level 70, a rebornscroll3, and a sacrifice eudemon of level 50 or higher, with at least one accessory potential higher than the main. This is a one-to-one transfer; so, if your main has an accessory potential of 5, and the sacrifice has ten, after rebirthing your main will have an accessory potential of 10.
Note; when using a gigi as your main, the level requirements are somewhat higher (explained in the "quality" section).
Now, a listing of all the eudemons, with their maximum stats. This table is completely and blatantly stolen from fei's guide; I don't think I could improve it in the slightest.
Again, ALL CREDIT FOR THESE IMAGES GOES TO FEI.
So, what is with the quality thing?
Whenever you rebirth your eudemon, it gains experience (around 330 per rebirth). For every 10,000 experience it gains, it will go up one quality level (also called "grade"). At higher qualities, your eudemon will change in appearance and rebirth requirements. Appearance changes as you increase the eudemon quality (shown here
http://co.enjoymmo.com/forum/thread-2193-1-2.html ). As for the requirements, they only affect the main potential rebirth. Here is a little table that shows the changes.
And also note that Gigis start out as a quality 10 eudemon, whereas all the others begin as a quality 0. Furthermore, once a eudemon is quality 6 or above, it must be levelled higher after rebirthing until it returns to its original level; 50, instead of 15.
Okay, so what are those Tonic things in the mall for?
In the mall, there are both "Tonic" and "Tonic(i)", for 2 diamonds and 6 diamonds respectively. These add to the level of your eudemons. Put the eudemon in the sun slot of the magic cube, and the Tonic or Tonic(i) in the moon slot, and run. Your eudemon will gain levels, more for the Tonic(i) than a regular Tonic. In this way, you can rebirth faster or get a eudemon up to level 70 in a shorter amount of time. Please note that with Tonics, your eudemon CAN level higher than the equipment level of your weapon. Tonics can not be used more than 5 times per day per eudemon.
So, which one do I use?
There are as many theories as there are people. DO NOT TAKE THIS SECTION AS THE FINAL ANSWER. Here is the rundown, in my opinion. Single attribute eudemons are junk, pretty well. Dual attribute eudemons have just as good stats, in two areas. The dual attributes are a fairly good bet. The triple attributes CAN be Godly, but they take a ridiculous amount of work. The gigi gives a quick boost to PA/MA, but nothing compared to a Godly triple stat (Piggy or Jerry). I personally use a piku/piggy combo, and it works very well. Some very, very strong players prefer pong/dudu because it gives double PA, and one PD, one MD (substitute mayi/bruce if you are an MA user). But, if you are just learning, and want a safe bet, go for a piku.
So, any questions, corrections, or suggestions? Please post them here.
