This guide is about nothing in particular.  It tries to answer many of the questions i see people asking often in a Q/A format.

General Questions

Q. How do i get a mount?
A. You get a novice mount at level 10 from the novice guide.  This mount only lasts for 7 days.  You can buy a mount at level 30 for 500k at the mount dealer or from the mall.

Q. What is the mount soul and what can i do with it?
A. Mount soul is used for upgrading mall mounts.  It gives them random stats, for example dodge or hit.  Green gives 1 stat, blue gives 2, purple gives 3.  To use it put the mall mount in the sun slot and the mount soul in the moon slot.

Q. How do i get those level 2 meteors, gems, crystals.
A. You need 3 of the same item/level.  Open up your cube and put 1 in sun, 1 in moon, 1 in star. For ore you only need 2 of the same ones.

Q. When i press Esc i see an option for offline exp when i log out.  When I use it and log back in my exp hasn't changed.  Why is that?
A. Offline exp is stored.  Press C and look at the attrib2 tab.  There is a bar displaying how much offline exp you have stored up, it also shows the maximum amount you can store.  To use this exp you need to use an exp card in the pub.  You can get the exp card from the mall.  It costs 10 diamonds for a stack of 5.

Q. What is charm?
A. It does nothing and is useless currently.  It may be useful in future patches.  I advise against putting anything into it.

Q. What are eudemons and how do i use them?
A. They are gems that can grow for placement into awakened weapons.  You must have an awakened weapon to use them.

Q. What is an awakened weapon and how do i get one?
A. To make one you need 2 things.  A weapon that is at level 20 with 100% exp and a glazed stone. You can get the glazed stone from the arms dealer.  Put the weapon in sun and the stone in moon.

Q. How do I run? Why is my character moving so slow?
A. Press R to toggle run/walk.  You may also be out of vitality(the yellow bar below your life/mana). To restore it eat some food or drink some coffee.

Repairs, Upgrades, and Sockets

Q. Why is the max durability of my equipment going down? How do i get it back up?
A. When ever you repair at an npc the durability of your equipment will drop by 10%.  Its best to always repair with ore.  Unfortunately you are stuck with the low durability as there is no way to fix it.

Q. How do I repair items with ore?
A. Guess what? Get out that lovely cube of yours again.  Put the item you are repairing in the sun slot then the ore in the moon and star slots.

For equipment you need 1 ore for every 20 levels you gain plus one. (Example: level 8 armor needs 1, level 18 armor needs 1, level 28 armor needs 2, level 38 armor needs 2, level 48 armor needs 3) Here is a chart of what ore to use when repairing:
White Equipment: Dark Iron Ore2
Green Equipment: Dark Iron Ore3
Blue Equipment: Dark Iron Ore4
Purple Equipment: Dark Iron Ore5

Weapons are a bit different.  You only need 1 ore for the repair.  The number of the ore is dependent on item quality:
White Weapon: 2
Green Weapon: 3
Blue Weapon: 4
Purple Weapon: 5

The type of ore is dependent on item level:
Level 20: Silver
Level 40: Gold
Level 60: Crystal

Some examples:
Level 20 perfect needs Silver Ore5
Level 40 white needs Gold Ore2

Awakened Weapons can only be repaired with crystal ore.
Level 20 needs crystal ore3, Level 40 needs crystal ore4, Level 60 needs crystal ore5.

Q. Why is my weapon stuck at level 5?
A. You need to upgrade it to the next stage.  To upgrade put the weapon in the sun slot, meteor in the moon slot, and a crystal in the star slot.  Heres a chart of meteor/crystal levels:

Level 20 weapon, Crystal level 2
Level 40 weapon, Crystal level 3
Level 60 weapon, Crystal level 4

Stage 1 to 2, Meteor level 1
Stage 2 to 3, Meteor level 2
Stage 3 to 4, Meteor level 3
Stage 4 to 5, Meteor level 4

Q. How do i socket items?
A. You need either a ruby or a topaz.  Topaz gives better chances then a ruby.  Open the cube and put the equipment item you wish to socket in sun.  Put the ruby or topaz in moon.

Q. How do i put gems in the socket?
A. Put the item in sun, gem in moon, and crystal in star.  Crystal level is dependent on item level.  Here is a chart:
Lv1 l-39 equipment: Lv2 Crystal - 100% chance of success
Lvl 40-59 equipment: Lv3 Crystal - 80% chance of success
Lvl 60-80 equipment: Lv4 Crystal - 50% chance of success

Q. Is there a way to make my equipment stronger without raising its level? What are violet gems for?
A. Violet gems are used to reinforce equipment.  It improves the items main attributes.  It can not be used on weapons.  To use it put the item in the sun slot and the violet gem in the moon stone.  The chance of success drops as you get to higher reinforcement levels.  6 is the highest possible with a normal violet gem.  After that you need to use super violet gems to further upgrade the item.

Q. What are moonstones for? How do I use them? Is there a way to upgrade the level of my equipment?
A. A moonstone upgrades equipment to the next level but it can only be used on perfect items.  It can not be used on weapons. For example if you used a moonstone on perfect level 28 armor you would get perfect level 38 armor.  It has a chance to fail which increases as the item level increases.  Also its bonus attributes will be randomly changed.  To use put the item in the sun slot and the moonstone in the moon slot.

Q. How do I keep my items from dropping when I die? What is a spectral stone for?
A. When you die there is a chance of dropping equipment and inventory items at random.  To keep that uber weapon or armor of yours safe its based to bind the item to you.  To do this put the item in the sun slot and the spectral stone in the moon slot.

Q. How do I unbind an item?
A. You can't.

Events, Honor, PVP

Q. What is honor, how do i get it, and what is it good for?
A. Honor is gained through killing players of an oposing race or from some events.  You will not get honor from killing a player that is more then 5 levels under your level.  You can check your honor and kills by pressing c and clicking on the honor tab.  It is needed to complete some of the novice guide quests.  Also you can buy enchantments from the chaos god with it.  Go to the battlefield to buy them.  Every Sunday night you will be given an honor rank based on your total honor.

Q. What events are there and how do i enter them?
A. To join an event talk to the event organizer in your races main city.  Here is a list of them with a brief description.

Border War
Monday-Thursday night at 9:00-11:00 est
Signups go from 7:00-9:00 est
The object of border war is to destroy the guardian stones of the enemy race while protecting yours.  Only players who are signed up for the event may hurt the guardian stones or other players that are signed up.  If you help destroy a guardian stone you get honor based on the amount of damage you did. The guardian stones are worth 500, 1000, 1500, 2500 going from first to last.  They must be destroyed in order. You will also get honor divided evenly for helping defend the guardian stones. You get 30 honor points for every stone your race destroys, 40 for every guardian stone of yours that's left standing.  The winning race gets 200 honor points and the loosing race gets 50.  This is a very good way of earning honor fast.

Mining War
Any time
Normally the mines have guards that will kill you on sight if you belong to another race.  If you destroy their flag the guards will go away for 3 hours.  The flags are located in the center of chaos island.  If you attack or destroy the flag there will be a global announcement letting everyone know so they can go defend.  It is a decent way to earn honor as there is oftentimes people afk in the mines for easy kills.

8 Immortals
Friday night at 9:00-10:30 est
You travel though multiple levels completing quests.  The goal is to get to level 7 and kill the 8 immortals.  They drop very rare items and keepsakes.  The keepsakes can be exchanged for prizes at the event organizer.  If you wish you can accept repeat the quests given during the first 2 levels to try and earn lots of experience.  Getting to the end will be impossible for low levels so this is probably best to do if you are one of them.

Resource War
Saturday night at 9:00-11:00 est
Winner gets control of the battlefield mine.

Zodiac (Check point game)
Sunday night at 9:00-11:00 est
Monsters killed drop cosmic dust, each cosmic dust may be traded in for 50 honor.

Interface, Team, Market

Q. When setting up a booth in the market is the price per item or for the entire stack?
A. Its for the entire stack.

Q. How do i trade? How do i view other peoples equipment? Add someone to a team?
A. Hold down ctrl and right click on them.

Q. How do I add someone to a team when they are not on the screen?
A. Right click on their name in chat.

Q. How can I leave a message for someone who isnt online? How can I send an item to a friend without being next to them?
A. Use the mail system! Press P to open it up. It costs 1k per message sent.

Q. What are the shortcuts for chat? How do i whisper someone?
A. Press enter and start typing to chat.  By default it will just be sent to the local area around you. To whisper a message to someone type: /p persons name and then the message. To send a message to everyone of your race type /r and then the message. To send a message to other people in your team type /t and then your message.  To send it to the guild its /g. And to send a message to everyone of all races use /w. Sending messages to your race costs vitality and to send messages to world chat you need a microphone.

NPC Shops
Q. How do i buy multiples of 1 item at a time?
A. Hold down shift and right click on the item.  Then enter the quantity desired.

Q. Where do I find....?
A. Here's a list of NPCs and what they do.  Use your map to find them.

Pharmacist - Potions and food
Grocer - Warp scrolls, Pickax, Magic Cube, Wine, Jerky, Revertive Scroll
Arms Dealer - Beginner weapons, Scrolls to reborn eudemons
Clothier - Armor
Armorer - Armor
Bookseller - Skill Books
Blacksmith - Crafting and mass production
Teleporter - Teleports you to a location of your choice that iss on the list.
Event Organizer - Join one of the nightly events.   Most events start at 9:00 est.
Quest Guide - Gives daily quests and repeatable loop quests.

Diamonds
Q. What are diamonds?
A. Diamond is the in game currency of the item mall.  Eventually players will be able to pay money in real life to get in game diamonds.

Q. How do i get diamonds?
A. You can get them from in game quests. You need to be at least level 30 to undertake the quest.  To get the quest go to the npc at the center of chaos island.  The quest gives you a scroll that you can exchange gold for diamonds with.  At level 30 you can get one that gives 10 diamonds for 100k.  At level 50 its 30 diamonds for 300k.

Q. I tried using the exchange scroll but it wont work?
A. You must have the required amount of gold to use it.  Also there is a limited number of diamonds given out each day.

Q. What is diamond credit? How can I have negative diamonds? If we cant pay for the diamonds and we can only get 10-30 a day how are we supposed to buy the really expensive stuff?
A. The game allows players to buy diamond items on credit. This allows players to go into a negative amount of diamonds to buy high priced items. The amount of credit a player has is based on his or her level.  It may also be changed as a punishment or a reward from the GMs.  Here is a chart showing the amount of diamond credit you get at each level:

Character creation and races
Q. Help I cant make a paladin.  Why is my paladin not like a paladin?
A. Paladin is the name given to Genotian's mages.  They are a mage class, have standard mage skills, and use normal mage weapons.

Q. Why cant I make a Draconian?
A. The Draconian race is not currently out.  It should be released in 1-2 weeks but this is just an estimate and things may change.

Q. How do I get the second character slot?
A. The second character slot is currently closed. The only way to have multiple characters is to make multiple accounts.  According to the eula this is allowed.

Darkqueen is that the chance to put an item in the socket for those level items?  I didn't know it dropped at higher levels that's good to know

not to put an item in teh socket but to put a socket in the equipment

yea, best to socket all your gear in the 30s-59 cause after that its extremely fustrating.
