Vista Guide

Vista likes to install games in the Games group on the start menu - a little known fact unfortunately.

Rule one make sure you have admin rights.  For example read write and execute.

The Games folder is the central location for all games on your computer. In the Games folder, you can find and open the games installed on your computer, download game information, and keep track of which games.

When you download Chaos online you will type the following Path or Partition information after downloading is done and you are asked for location to extract to.  For example Path.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\windows\Start menu\Programs\Games

This is the default partition entry information for vista only.

To start a game

Open the Games folder by clicking the Start button , clicking All Programs, clicking Games, and then clicking Games Explorer.

Double-click the game you want to play.

After successful extraction you can drag the exe icon to your desk top.  That Path will be C:\Program Files\ChaosOnline\ChaosOnline.exe

Just copy that to your desktop or drag to desktop

Every-time you launch your game windows Vista will update if updates are available. Facts gleamed from Windows Help and How-to and my own thoughts.

I just think the game needs more developments, more support, more planning.  I also work for a game development newsgroup
Then you must know what the phrase "plagiarism" is?

Sorry dude Microsoft's help sight is Open source and has a fair use clause.  I dont have to post quotes.  Also if you look at my post i have my own information included.  Plagiarisms applies to thought of another author.  Since you have no clue A work is 鈥渙riginal鈥 if it contains some elements you created and did not borrow from others.  Childish   Microsoft grants Permission to use Documents (such as white papers, press releases, datasheets and FAQs) from the Services is granted.  Funny how you cant find my original input in google to badmouth. Let me remind you this is not a court or a scientific paper or a scientific guide.  Maybe you need to drink some more redbull.

plagiarism appllie to "any" ideas taken.. again.. just noting that if you're gonna jam pack everyone else's info together.. at least credit them.. or rephrase...

Open source or not.. if you posted all the links to those website.. anyone would have gotten the exact same information...

And this work.. is consider "original" because the same can be done in any essay /report ever written.. RIGHT! GREAT GUIDE!

Argument ends.. he added a reference clause at the end after the kid spoke..

sorry Impeccable.. think the kid "won" this one..

Anyways yea.. some players took some pictures from the Chinese website.. and noted that in the beginning of their guides..

best to reference than to argue.. kk X)

and yes.. i can also tell some info are directly from vista...

Edit:
sorry.. i'm not trying to argue or anything.. but if you wanted to reword it to make it seem less of a "rip" >.>

To start a game
1.         Open the Games folder by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Games, and then clicking Games Explorer.
2.         Double-click the game you want to play.
This is a paraphrase:

"1. To access the game folder, start at the Start Menu --choose-> All Programs --and then choose-> Games --after that choose-> Games Explorer."

"2. After the window opens, choose the game you want and double click"

(Note: removing the numbers isnt a paraphrase.. no matter what the argument is..)

The real word you need to understand is called paraphrase. Microsoft Help pages is open source and fair use.  Now if i was trying to sell these thoughts for profit you would be correct in your accusations.  And since 50 percent of my post is my own thoughts and not Microsofts it consider an acceptable paprapharsing.

The microsoft website is basically a user manual for how to use certain functions.

If he were to simply link to that site the mods would delete it.

However he posted it here where everyone can see it.

You cannot plagiarize open source information. By simply providing another means to access it.

I don't see anywhere in there where he said "This is mine and wrote the whole thing myself." Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm back. Deal with it.

Paraphrase is a summary.  Proof  http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/parapharse.  I can summarize anyway i feel fit point blank especially with an open source information source. English 101 is now over.

Plagiarism is only when you copy and paste everything word for word.  However if you were to manipulate it, it is no longer considered plagiarism.

However, I can agree that it is plagarizing but who cares?  Its not like he is using it in articles and stuff and posting it everywhere publicly.  This is only for the usage of members that play Chaos Online.
Testing.
